Cabarrus is celebrating National County Government Month to educate citizens on the importance of county government and the many ways the work of county government touches their lives.
The theme for this year’s celebration is “Counties RISE!” RISE! stands for Resiliency, Inclusion, Solvency and Empowerment - and the exclamation point speaks to the enthusiasm and passion with which we tell those stories.
Get ready to take a learning stroll on Friday, May 12 to learn more about the work we do. Join us on a walking tour of County facilities in downtown Concord, where you can speak to officials and explore the important structures that help the County conduct business. Locations include the Government Center, Sheriff's Office, Concord Branch of the Library, and the new Courthouse construction project.
Participants will receive a goody bag with Cabarrus swag, County information, and details on how to get involved with our programs and initiatives.
