Equalization and Review Board

The Board of Equalization and Review:

• examines tax lists to assure property is listed and appraised correctly
• hears property owner appeals about appraised values
• makes necessary adjustments to property valuation in accordance with standards established by law

The Board of County Commissioners selects the five-member board.

Terms are one, two and three years, staggered.
