Home and Community Care Block Grant Advisory Committee

The Home and Community Care Block Grant Advisory Committee:

• advises the Board of County Commissioners
• advises the Centralina Area Agency on Aging
• advocates for the services and needs of the senior population
• reviews service providers funded by the committee
• makes budgetary recommendations on related matters to the Board of County Commissioners

The fifteen member committee consists of:

• 6 designated agency representatives
• 2 ex-officio members representing the Board of County Commissioners and the Centralina Area Agency on Aging
• 7 at-large representatives appointed by the Board of County Commissioners

Initial appointments are staggered, followed by three-year terms.
