The Transportation Advisory Board serves to:
- advance coordination between County and human service agencies
- monitor transportation services
- advise the Board of Commissioners on human service transportation policy
This 18-member board consists of agency representatives from:
- school system
- human services
- law enforcement
- EMS
- Head Start
- Cabarrus Health Alliance
There are also members from Midland, local clergy and various citizen advocate positions.
Appointments are for three-year terms.
