Volunteer with Active Living and Parks

Volunteers provide support to our staff and the participants we serve. This support involves assisting with Senior Center sponsored programs and events. Volunteers also support other local agencies and organizations. Opportunities to volunteer are available in several areas:

  • Lobby and reception desk
  • Senior center dances
  • Lunch and learns
  • Wellness programs
  • Entertainment programs
  • Dog show (a fundraiser for the Senior Games and Senior Christmas Party)
  • Special events (Active Living Expo, Senior Games, Senior Christmas Party)
  • Advocacy
  • Community programs
