You now have an easy way to determine how and where your tax dollars are spent through a new online app.
The “By Function” tile takes you to a breakdown that includes overall government services, such as Education, Public Safety, Human Services, General Government and more. The “By Department” tile breaks down functions by individual departments within those larger functions. Users can toggle between the two sections in the app.
Note: The figures account for Cabarrus County property taxes only; fire or municipal taxes are not included.
