The County's provides an Annual Comprehensive Financial Report (ACFR), or Audit. It is an official report that includes three distinct sections.
The introductory section contains general information. It refers to the structure, services and environment of the County.
The financial section includes basic financial statements. These statements are the core of financial reporting. They include government-wide financial statements, fund financial statements and statement notes. The financial section also includes information on individual funds.
The statistical section provides trend data and non-financial data. This data is useful in interpreting the basic financial statements. It is important for evaluating economic condition.
The report provides additional information about the County's grants. Included are the schedule of federal and state awards. It also contains the auditor's opinions on compliance.
The ACFR is presented annually on June 30, the end of the County's fiscal year.
