Volunteer Fire Departments

Eleven volunteer fire departments serve unincorporated Cabarrus County. A mix of both volunteers and paid members staff these departments. Cabarrus County provides a grant to assist in securing skilled staff. Maintaining paid fire departments and fire marshal staff to serve their municipalities are:

  • City of Concord
  • City of Kannapolis
  • Town of Harrisburg
