The Youth Development Division serves the young population of Cabarrus County. The division is comprised of School Resource Officers.
The Youth Development also provides youth-related programs such as:

- Child's ID and fingerprinting
- Stranger danger
- Internet Safety
- Fatalvision/DWI Awareness
