The Landfill accepts construction and demolition debris and yard waste from:

  • commercial businesses
  • homeowners
  • currently not accepting whole home and commercial building tear downs

Need Mulch?

Mulch (when available) is for sale every Tuesday and Thursday from 2 to 4:30 pm at the landfill. Contact the landfill scale house for availability and current prices.

Fee Schedule - Effective July 1, 2024 (subject to $2 per ton NC disposal tax)

Loads weighing 2,000 lbs or more $45 / ton
Loads weighing 1,000 to 1,999 lbs $45
Loads weighing 501 to 999 lbs $25
Loads weighing 1 to 500 lbs $13
Uncontaminated yard waste $42 / ton
Mixed debris (yard and construction waste) $50 / ton
Special handling charge $30 / load

Monday - Friday, 8 am - 5 pm

(Construction and demolition waste will not be accepted for the landfill after 4:45 pm, Monday - Friday)

 

Saturday, 8 am - 2 pm

(Construction and demolition waste will not be accepted for the landfill after 11:45 am on Saturdays)
