Midland Fire and Rescue was established in 1955. Midland Fire currently operates out of two stations. They boast the largest fleet of equipment of any volunteer department in Cabarrus. Midland has a wide variety of properties in their response area. These properties range from large residential to commercial, farming and industrial. The proud men and women of Midland Fire staff two stations around the clock. They have six full-time paid personnel and combinations of part-time employees and volunteers.
