Camp T.N. Spencer Park

This 50-acre park was dedicated in 2003 as the result of a partnership between the County and the Cabarrus Boys and Girls Club. The location had operated as a private summer camp since the late 1940s. The Boys and Girls Club summer camp program still operates at the park each summer.

Camp T.N. Spencer features community buildings available for rental for family reunions, meetings, weddings and gatherings. Other amenities include picnic shelters, a 1.5-mile trail, a playground, a volleyball court, six cabins, eight tent sites, three fishing ponds, picnic sites, horseshoe pits, restrooms and a bathhouse. The park's swimming pool is open each year from Memorial Day to Labor Day.
